14 weeks! 12-18-20 to 12-24-20

12-18 to 12-21: All things baby announcement! (See previous blog for weekend festivities as they tied into our Christmas trip to Eufaula). After an amazing and once-in-a-lifetime weekend with family, we made it back to Austin on the 21st. Our hearts are so full from all the celebrating and new memories we made! We had a delicious dinner at Hibachi on the way home and that's also when our phones started going wild! All our friends and family had started receiving their announcement cards in the mail! It was so fun to share the excitement with them! We decided to keep everything off social media for a bit longer, not only so we can just enjoy this time with each other and our closest family/friends, but also because we just don't think it's right to seek attention and broadcast our personal lives on such public outlets. 

As for the rest of the week: We got more and more congratulations, the grandmothers picked their names (Mom is Lovey, Marilyn is Granna), I had lunch with Aly and we did a little last minute Christmas shopping, and Brandon and I enjoyed our last Christmas alone, just he and I cozy and in love at home.
